Anybody ever use 18" 4g Eclispe rims on their 2g? Why cant I post anywhere but in this Newbie section. I have 16g, tq convertor, exhaust, dsmlink, etc I think I know enough to post in the big boys section :)

wheels 18x8
bolt pattern 5x114.3
offset 46
Tires on rims: 235/45R18
That's the factory spec of the 4g 18" rims I believe. Which I'm guessing would be perfect.

-DSMunknown I will cleanup and highlight my 16g ebay turbo kit install. I don't want to jump through hoops to post questions in the right section. Seems to me if you force people to do that you are only limiting the ability of professional mechanics and hardcore enthusiasts that don't have time to sit behind their computer and post hundreds or thousands of articles. I spend most of my time wrenching on my mustang which is running a T64 garret and spray but I'd like to help out on here if I could post in the right sections. Thanx

just thought i would paost pics of my car with 4g elcipse rims and tires

chill man, you only have about 6 more posts plus most of the help that people need is in the newbie section, so until you get your 6 more posts just relax and breath.LOL

An obsolete circular metal plate having a bolt hole circle and center bore and fitting between the faces of disc wheels to provide additional dual clearance. The definition i got when i searched it on google. But basically its just an metal piece that fits between the hub and the wheel over your studs that makes your wheels stick out to provide additional clearance.

those tires are wayyy too meaty for my tastes. 235/45 i think you said..wow looks like a 4x4 or maybe its because the cars not dropped i dunno.

the car is a completly stock car with the rims on it. i have no intension to lower the car because its my daily driver. i work for mitsubishi and they were free and they are just summer rims and tires. And i also wanted to show that it can be done.

I agree it looks really nice with the red, i dont know if it was just the blue or because it was at night that i didnt like them on the other car but i like them on the red.
