17x8 C2's on 235/45/17 tires... Question???

I just bought wheels for my spyder and everything looks good. The problem is that when I drive the car and hit a dip on the road or freeway, I can hear a noise on the rear left that sounds to be the tires rubbing. The thing is, it only happens on the left rear not the rear right wheel. I've been reading some threads on here about 235/45/17 tires and how it might be rubbing. My question is, is there anything I can do to fix this problem. I also read something on the vfaq that I may need stiffer shocks to prevent from rubbing. I'm using the tokico HP shocks and springs. Oh by the way, I did the homemade rear camber kit on the vfaq.com site which fixed the camber issue on the rear.
