Shortly after installing my bran new 16g it sucked up a rubber piece from the air inlet and the turbine just stopped dead in its tracks, now the car runs like it only has 1 cylinder, theres barley enough power to get it going. I know the turbos screwed but did i mess something up in the engine or is the car choking and not getting enough air because the stuck turbines blocking it. also the rpm feels like its over reving past 7k rpm at only 3500 rpm, it feels horrible driving this car, can the stuck turbine cause these symptoms? there is no boost leaks.

well.. if something like this happened to me. i sure as heck wouldnt drive it around... if your old turbo is still okay i would slap it back on and see if that helps. and in the process check the damage in the turbo. worst possible case (most unlikely) is a bolt or 2 got sucked into the turbo and through the piping into the intake and into the cylinders and welded itself onto the head or something.... just my .02

Nothing big (like a bolt, or piece of rubber) should get to the engine if you have an intercooler.

Your right, the thing will choke and sputter if the turbo cant spin. So yea, gank that thing off and see if you cant rebuild it.

I bought a bran new 16g so im good, but can i cause it to not rev properly? like it feels like its over revving at 3500 rpm
