Hey Everyone,

First - 2g AWD all stage one mods (save the Exhaust Manifold - the reason for this question).

I apologize if this doesn't completely belong here, but it doesn't really belong in the newbies either.

Without getting into personal preference over turbos and the stupid monicker of the "16g Killer" turbo kit, does anyone who has one or know of someone who does, know whether an EVO or SBR or other reasonably priced Exhaust manifold will bolt on to the 02 housing which comes in the "16g killer" kit?

After buying the kit for variety sake and intention to use as an auto-cross setup because of its supposed faster spoolup I've stumbled off the beaten path of modding and need a little help.

And just for the curious, after driving it with all typical stage 1 mods, it is a fast spooler, but it won't support support massive HP cause its just not big enough. I got it because I was living on an island with no police and all twisty bumpy two-lane roads etc which was essentially my personal auto-cross track. It works great for constant speed-up slow down frequent shifting applications where top speed is 100mph and average speed between 30-70mph repeating - NOT at the stip - you'll get your pants lit up by anything from a 16g and up properly tuned.

That being said, I'm hoping I can get more flow with a better exhaust manifold to get even better spoolup. Any helpful suggestions is greatly appreciated.

*Newbie Alert* The exhaust manifold does not bolt onto the O2 housing. The ex. man bolts onto the turbo, and the O2 housing also bolts onto the turbo. If you trace the exhaust gas path it goes; ex. man > turbo> O2 housing> downpipe >

I suppse you haven't seen this?

It shows that the turbo bolts onto the stock DSM exhaust manifold using an adapter plate. Any DSM manifold will work as long as you have that special adapter plate.

Thanks Pneumo,

Your right of course. Its been a while since I've done anything on the car - its garaged a couple hours away. RRE is an unlikely place to find that information, but thank you nonetheless.
