I have a damaged small 16g turbo. It's good except the compressor wheel is all chewed up. And I have a blown 14b. Would it be possible to just swap the 14b compressor wheel and houseing onto the 16g and have a good turbo?

Also can you use the 14b compressor wheel with the 16g compressor houseing? Or is it to large? I know it looks to large.

the compressor wheel is diff, but i believe they are the same size. the 16g is double finned, and the 14b is single finned

No I believe the 16G inlet is slightly larger but I definitely could be wrong. I had basically the same thing happened to me, and I just swapped out the wheel and popped on the 14b wheel and the 14b compressor housing, and it boosted like a mofo. It would be wise to have the turbo spin balanced though if you want it to last.
