14b won't go past 8psi !

I got my 14b installed yesterday, and today I went out for a test ride. As I went WOT I noticed that I could barely hear the turbo spooling and my Boost Gauge was reading no more than 8-9 psi's no matter the gear or how much i was going WOT.

The turbo didnt had any shaft play. It was in good condition.

Also, does the boost solenoid has something to do with this ? Since I noticed that it is not connected to any vacuum lines that goes from the wastegate, and the only vacuum coming from the wastegate is conected on the pipe that goes from the 14b to the intercooler.

Thats exactly why it isn't boosting more. Its working directly off the wastegate which only goes to 8-10psi. You need a boost controller

Today I used a "T" union and first I got 10 psi's, good but not enough. So we kept working with the wastegate and now im facing something worst than 8psi... Overboost. So im going to get it back on 8 psi and buy a MBC and thats it

Im currently at stock boost and it pulls pretty hard.... I definetly hear the turbo spooling.
