1G 14B Turbo Inlet Sleeve

I'm looking for the part number for the factory rubber sleeve that fits on the cold side turbo inlet that creates a seal for the intake tube. The sleeve fits on the part of the turbo circled on the image below. This is for a factory 14B turbo

I couldn't find the part shown on any factory parts diagrams. The only part number I found by searching the forums was MD613776. I ordered that part and below is what I received. Did I simply order the wrong part or is that not the correct MD613776?

I know that I will probably have to cut a piece of hose off that fits to use, but I would prefer the factory sleeve because I've always seemed to have a solid fit with it.

Why not use an aftermarket reducer ?

I have a 1Ga with popup head lights and I'm running a 2G MAS which requires me to use the factory 2G turbo intake pipe so that I have clearance for my air filter. I actually have two different Dejon tool intakes and a reducer that fits the turbo the turbo perfectly, but there is not enough room to use a 2G MAS with an air filter due to the popup head light parts taking up space in the bay.

If I can't find the factory part soon, I will cut the reducer and use it to mount the intake pipe if everything fits.

What you ordered is the compressor housing seal. That seals it with the Chra.

I would ask Justin if he has any lying around. I don't think your going to find a new one, probably discontinued from Mitsubishi.

When I ran mass air I ran a 2g mas with a 1g intake pipe and a 4-5" long filter on an adapter plate. The 1g intake pipe can fit, it just takes a bit of effort with a flathead screwdriver to coax it over the oval hole on the mas. Trust me, it can be done. I ended up switching to the 2g pipe and used spa hose from home depot for BPV dump tube and some hose clamps with double sided foam tape to help seal. No big deal.
