Look at the cars mods, I dont have injectors... or any GOOD means of adjusting anything since I dont have a logger :(

It's running rich that much I can smell but since it's the stock fuel system with 2.5" UICP pipeing I figured this might be maxing them out, so it's rich at idel but I doubt at WOT.

Openions? Car actualy seems slower, with a stright line from source to actuator after the upgreads... soooo on went the MBC which helped out ALOT.

I should also say my 1G manifold just developed a pretty big crack, and the DP is leaking (reused an old gaskit)

I was still expecting at stock boost with thoughs parts to for it to make a pretty noticeable diference, but as rich as it is running I supose that could explaine it. Oh well, haveing the engine actualy rev when I put my foot on the gas is nice LOL

17-18 psi huh?

If I could get a little reassurance on that I think I might go and tinker with that MBC some more :)

I figured with the UICP you couldn't run as much without injectors. But I guess im forgetting how rich the car runs with it's factory tune... or so I have read anyway.

After driveing it around alot the other day, it seems to have figured out it was pig ass rich, because each time I smelled the exhaust it seemed less and less rich (not burning my eyes and nose as much) still on the rich side, but not NEAR as bad as it was when I first put the MAFT on.

If you're leaking before the cat, then it will seem rich since it's not all going to the cat.
Replace the 1G Manifold with a 2G.

I wouldn't go over 17 psi. But it will be safe at 17.

Your next upgrade (after the 2G Manifold) is a logger.
Very important to know what is going on with your car. Check out www.roadraceengineering.com For more information on your fuel upgrade path. It will help you out some. It's under the Fuel parts for 1/2G DSMs.
