13g with 16g wheel and 14b with 16g wheel whers the info?

I read somewhere before about putting a 16g comp wheel in a bored 13g housing anyone help me find this info? See a 13g DSM turbo can be put in our 3000gt turbine housing easeley(ive done it) but I read somewhere that I believe a small 16g comp wheel can be fitted in that turbo. Next is- I run 2 ported 14b's on my 3000gt and the car runs 11.40's @ 124-125mph. I know you dsmers have dealt with boring the Comp housing of the 14b and put in a big 16g wheel. How good dose this work? I thought if I could put the big 16g wheel in and use the smaller 6cm2 turbine housing from the 14b it might work well for me. Where to buy these wheels and pricing would be greatly appriciated. (I also have a DSM-92 Laser with 16g) so Im not a trader I just want your advice thanks Tug

I wouldn't put a 16g wheel in the 13g frame with the 13g turbine side, it's too small for that kind of airflow.

Any good turbo shop can install a 16g compressor in a 14b housing, you just need to clearance the compressor housing, replace the compressor and a few other small parts, and rebalance the assembly.
