I was just wondering i bought all of these parts hoping to recah the 11's...wont be able to test it for a while, but was wondering if im "only dreaming" with these mods.

Rebuilt Head.
.20 2G pistons.
Polished and shotpeened rods.
Block resurfaced.
Crank knife edged.
Balance shafts removed.
Arp head studs rod bolts and main studs.
FP3065 (i dunno bout 22-25 psi?)
SBR Cast Manifold Ported
Tial Wastegate
AEM EMS no more MAF
SBR Racing FMIC
PTE 880's Injectors
Atr full 3 inch stainless exhaust.
ACT 2600 clutch.
ACT xact flywheel.
Prothane solid motor mounts.
Walbro 255 fuel pump. (HP + Rewire)
Magnacore wires.
Greddy RS Blow-off Valve.
Dejon Tool 4" Intake Pipe w/K@N
Symbroski Shift Kit

The engine block is done up the exact same as buschur racing stage one race block.

What u guys think? 11's too much of an Imagination? ANd No No joke I'm Serious what is your estimations?
 
cams or not if he can't hit 11's in that thing either



1. He has no legs so he can't reach the pedals


2. he is blind an can't see the tree or drives into the wall
 
Also I understand i havent dynod it yet...but anyone got any AWHP estimates?
I'm again hoping for like 450 mebbe a little more
 
Awesome just what i wanted to hear... I do think i will need some cams and intake manifold b4 i hit 10's tho.......but like i said LOL i built this car to run 11's any more is a bonus...a mid 11 is all i ask. and im glad u guys think its possible thanks for the positive feedback
 
And Now i finally got a transmission too... TRE rebuilt w/everything LSD + Transfer Case + Rear LSD for 1100 not shabby... which means now i dont have to skip second gear while running LOL
 
Stock intake manifold has a lot of testicles behind it. I would keep it stock unless you plan on doing some exotic direct port nitrous setup.
 
I dont plan on running nitrous. i wanna replace cams for sure.. but for a while i pretty much could not shift into second if i was past 4k rpms so the tre is a good change
 
What did you have done to the transmission? Was it a basic rebuild? I am very certain you can get into the 11s with this setup, I would say 10s with good tires and decent driving. But I am not sure how many passes you will get until your transmission turns into a slush-box.
 
The Head Gasket was replaced as well... The engine only has about 5000 miles on it since rebuild. all gaskets were replaced everything was done the right way.... As for the transmission... It was basic rebuild plus a few other things double syncro 2nd, Evo shft forks, and a few other things.....the tranny should last a while...i hear good things about TRE.
 
which headgasket did you use???

and btw... people are running 9s with that turbo :)

mine will be in the mail tomorrow hopefully.
 
Ok well guys as an update...we finally got everything on....and in LOL got it running and i went and got it dyno tuned.... turns out i had a major boost leak (more on that later) so at 4500 rpms I had 292 and evewrytime we got on it to do a run the dipstick would blow out. And I had been dealing with a overheating problem.. it quickly fell after that cuz of the leak......I got home and my car was like ....skipping? kinda like a fuel cut...but not...anyways i put new plugs in and did a few other little things...and went out it seemed as tho it fixed the problem...I went an did a run and it was fine (it was the first AWD Ive ridden in that went sideways while floored was a cool feeling.. So i went and got a friend to ride with me...when i get on it i heard a pop we pulled over everything looked good, but it sounded like an exhaust leak.. so we get home...and coolant is all over the ground pouring....we trace the problem to the crossover tube that goes behind the turbo into the water pump ...LOL we fix that and then try to start it and everytime coolant started to spray out what looked to be the back of the number 3 piston ...u prolly guessed it by now..we took a spark plug and and bam... coolant all up in there... I was only pushing 24 lbs, but by all the other problems i had before that I'm assuming it was bad before then i just finished it off... so u know what they say..go big or go home..... today i ordered the buschur stage 3 head. HKS 272's x2 Tien springs and KYB struts... I asked them what gasket i should get and they recommended stock all the way around...i was skeptical but they know more then me so i got what they said... what you guys think?
 
Benchracing, but...

Yeah, those mods should be able to hit 11's. Like people said, cams are a necessity. With a top-end turbo like that, SMIM should be on your priority list along with cams.
 
I put HKS 272's.....cams intake and exhaust.... also i was just giving an update..no benchracing...instead of starting a new thread i reused my original one.... my question is not being able to run 11's...because well lets just say i better :p but was more aligned with why would they recommend the stock head gasket with the stage 3 head......
