1 gear full boost no power

Every now and then when I take off in 1st gear it will go to full boost, but no power, then I let off and hit it again and the power is back. anyone ever have this happen?

When ## at full boost is ## tac. redline? Because if it is it might be your clutch slipping. Then when you let off and hit it again the clutch will grab.

Its not the clutch. I don't have to be at redline when it happens its somthing that happens
only on certain occasions. all I do is let off the gas and start again and everythings fine. even for months. and all of a sudden it will do it again. just something strange have know idea

Yeah it is strange, i dont know what to tell ya.

Often times my car will read maximum knock in first gear and pull timing, causing a lack of power. Phantom knock is a possibility for you to look at. If you have the means to log I would do so. If not I would buy a logger.

and of course a boost leak test never hurts.
