1/8 mile testing on the STOCK BLOCK project

Ok, that doesnt mean it doesnt need them though...

At the moment I am still testing the suspension for BC and looking to get the best combination out of a stock type suspension setup using the BC coilovers. In other words i am trying to get the right combination of spring and adjustment so we can make a BC drag type setup. So far we have gone 1.4's

I see, that makes sense. It must be pretty sweet working with a manufacturer like that developing and testing new products. Have the spring rates changed or anything else since that picture? 1.4's are really good It just looks like it could be better from that picture. Not saying you are doing ANYTHING wrong just trying to provide a little feedback. Keep up the good work!

Thanks! Since that picture we have changed the spring rates and that's how we have gotten down to the 1.4's. The goal is for consistent 1.4's on a relatively heavy car using the stock transfer and axles. In other words I am trying to make a drag suspension that will fit most guys out there that drag and street drive the car. BC has done a great job giving us a hand with any changes we have needed to do to the setup. Also thanks for the feedback!

No I was on E85

Hmm I will take that into consideration although I would hate to go back to stock. Instead I would like to invest in a system that will be good for anything I throw at it in the future.

Nice work with the BC setup, just make sure you put a set on a street car that will see some mileage too!

May I suggest M&W? I know first hand that it is a very expensive system, but I must say that it is seriously impressive in design, there are so many fast cars out there running it, and you will never have to upgrade.

In another thread he claimed to be putting a fp3794 on the car. If it holds together, I see deep nines in that cars future. Knock on wood. I believe that turbo is rated at 90 pounds an hour. My s366 I know for sure is an 80 pounds an hour. STOCK BLOCK for the win.

Yup that's correct the car will be getting an fp3794 and hopefully will be ready for this weekend races. Also for the record the old turbo was rated at 80lbs/min as well so I hope to see new numbers with the new turbo :)
