Just wondering what you guys with similar mods are running. I'm getting a little anxious running the car with the new 2.5 downpipe, high flow cat, 2.5 cat back.

My previous best was 14.601 @ 93.98 with free mods, K+N, and MBC @ 15lbs. 2.3x 60ft. No tuning what so ever. No lift to shift.

I need something to shoot for at least. Need to trap better than 93. Seems every run I've ever run with the damned car trapped @ 93, even my first time ever, 15.3x @ 93. Thanks.

when I had similar mods I ran a 14.406 at 94 but I have AWD. and as far as my top end being faster well that will come with time.

I ran a 14.6 at 97mph, your trap speed is preety low for a GS-T conisidering your 2.3 60ft time.

with k&n, downpipe, testpiipe, catback, and fuel pump, on pump gas I managed a 13.8 @ 102(getting knock) @ 16psi. The next week, I was on racegas(knock went away), but 17psi, managed 13.5@104, then got my afc, tuned some and 13.1 @ 105 @ 19psi :)

Pretty much the only mod you have that helps is the boost controller, and you did just about what everyone else with a boost controller does...roughly 14.5

With the new full exhaust system on, you should be near low 14's. if you can cut a 2.0-2.1 60 ft, you should be set.

Also, a better clutch would help alot.

Thanks for the replies.

I thought my trap speed was a little low for a GS-T too. Riding out third nets the same results as shifting into fourth @ around 6400 rpm. I'm hoping to trap at least 97 with the exhaust.

Saxrulez, that's a hell of a time with minimal mods. Fuel management is definetely my next upgrade.

Thanks :)

I never ran without the downpipe, but the difference was.....well.....HUGE. I was giggling like a schoolgirl the first drive after I put it on :D You should look into getting a datalogger, it has been incredibly helpful along the way, and lets you know whats giong on, and even withotu an AFC, its still helps you to pick the right amount of boost.

I don't think getting a 2.0 or 2.1 60ft is possible with balding all season touring tires (gotta love Wisconsin).

What sort of logger does everyone use? I'm kinda new when it comes to car electronics. The only name brand I'm aware of is Davis.

most people here use digitaltuning.com's pocketlogger. It uses either a palm or laptop interface and plugs right into your diagnositic port. On the 1G you can log such things as knock, timing, 02 sensor, fuel trims.. etc. Some people go the palmenstine method, which has free software all you need is a palm or laptop and a cable. The digital tuning.com route is a bit more expensive but you need to realize that you are getting the program and the cable.

Thanks Miteclgst

This may seem like a naive question, but will digitaltuning's logger and software work on a desktop PC? I don't have a laptop or a Palm.

probably the cheapest palm you can get is the m100 or the 105. they both work with the logger. I got a m105 with a whole bunch of stuff i don't need (keyboard, covers, etc) for $70 and it was all refurbished by palm. That's a good thing to have because my screen went on mine about a month after I got it and they replaced it free of charge because the refurbished ones come with a 90 warranty. I would get 2 hotsync cables too or a desktop hotsync and an extra one. If you only get one cable then you will need to constatly transfer the cable from the car to the pc anytime you want to bak up/ upload your logs so that you can view them easier or post them here.
