Not sure if this is a worth while post but hey, I was so excited I have to tell someone,, Well, After a few modifications to the car I was plesantly surprised on my Zero to 60 Time,, And I used a GPS to measure it, (yes it can do zero to whatever speed times,, and distances,, it just starts the clock as soon as you start moving, so there really isn't a way to cheat) Well here are the mods

- Hacked Air Can (working on making a CAI)
- Turbo Cams (going to get them reground soon)
- UDP
- Removed the Balance Shafts
- Headers
- Ported and mildly polished head (PITA to DIY!!)
- Shaved head to increase compression ratio
- Weight reduction 100lbs (A/C, Spare, ect)
- Engine Fully Balanced
- Advanced the timing a bit
and got a time of 6.7 seconds,, NO JOKE... in fact, that's with my hefty 200lb friend in the passenger side and a FULL tank of gas)

Forgot to mention its a 93' Eagle Talon ES. I haven't had a chance to 1/4 mile it with the GPS but a 0-60 of 6.7 ain't that bad for a N/T.

what headers do you got?

thats actually a nice 0-60 for out cars i think. stock is 8 secs i believe, but only because we have to granny shift second ;)

Ok for the headers actually they are just a cheap set of PaceSetters. I heard that headers might help but pretty much the difference between the top-end headers to the low end had little difference. As for stock 0-60 time, it is 8.5 seconds. I am still looking for more way to improve before I rebuilt it (AGAIN) this summer, My mods are on top, I plan on getting a set of cams and regind them to a more radical duration and lift (anyone know if I need to upgrade the computer before I do that?). So if anyone has some suggestions I am more then open to them THANKS fellow N/T drivers :thumb:

they are plug and play. its all handled from the tming belt turning the cam gears. so no worry there.

id like to pop on the turbo cams, ill eventually buy them brand new, since i dont want to chance with old ones. its better to do it right the first time :thumb: but i read somewhere that it is possible to take them out without removing the timing belt, but there is a chance that if yoyu mess up you will b0rk yer timing and have to change the belt. man if i could find someone that i could pay to pop in some cams and change my belt id uh, pay em:D

how hard was a udp to install? id like to have one, but i dont know if that belt is a diy or a pita like timine belt.
