04/21/26 Engine prep. Engine from 1997 GSX, rebuilt 4000 miles ago. Trans 5 speed manual with 82,000 miles on it. OEM clutch with a lightweight Competition Clutch flywheel.

05/24/26 Engine and trans in, mixture of a 98 manual engine harness and a 99 auto chassis harness. Clear cam timing cover did not survive because I was dumb and ran it without the middle timing cover piece. Trying out some Intercooler piping routes, eventually found a stock one to use for the moment. Stock T25 turbo.

05/26/26 Glowshift white face gauges. Boost, wideband, Oil pressure

06/14/26 Shes alive! Engine sounds healthy (no surprise came out a running GSX) Chasing down boost leaks, stock BOV was leaking majorly of course. Swapped out with a knockoff Greddy type s. Transmission feel and sounds very good and healthy. Now its time to clean up the wiring, find all the leaks, and start breaking her in.

Only thing I would change would be the glowshift wb. Spend the cash for top quality for something that important. Besides that, looks good and keep it up

Looking good dude!! The hard work will def pay off. And I approve of the name haha.

Yea man right now I just got it so I can keep an eye on the ratio for boost leaks and exhaust leaks

07/23/26 Got the new intercooler piping on, I’m pretty sure the used knockoff Greddy BOV is leaking. There’s a loud continuous whistle anytime I’m in boost. Also boost gauge telling me I’m not building boost. On a worse note my water pump decided to fail right after the test drive.

Better right after a test drive than miles from home.
My fuel pump went out on me like 5 miles from home a few weeks ago, right after filling and on my way home

Exactly, I’m purposely doing all these stress test at the shop to see what’s all bad before I take it home. When we rebuilt my RS I took it home almost immediatly and never caught up with the problems since I dailyed it at the time. Live and learn
