I'm so pissed. My movers crapped out and refused to move my box. I specifically asked if they had the equipment to do it and gave them full disclosure on what it is. And how much it weighs

I'm stuck now and I'm out if time. Suggestions?

This is a homak 56" h2 pro top and bottom and it's full. Estimated 1500lbs. It's 900 lbs empty.
I moved it myself one time with a moving van and Tommy lift and it was scary.

This is a bummer. I’ve had to move my box a lot, 4 dealer jobs and finally to my house. So, in the past I’ve rented a uhaul utility trailer with ramp, I’ve done it that way twice. Second best option but maybe the best if you don’t have help to load and unload, I rented a Penske truck with a lift gate from Home Depot, that’s when I was moving states and spent a small fortune on diesel. Another option I used once was pay my tool guy to move it. Finally, an option I didn’t use but have seen lots of people use it- hire a flatbed.

I used a car trailer to move mine. Before the car trailer it was a U haul double axle enclosed trailer.

I had to use a flatbed trailer once, and then used Snap-On to move it the last time.

If your out of time and need to move it fast, best option is call a towing company to move it for you. I cant count how many techs I have see do it this way.

Ramp trailer from Uhaul would be my go to if you or a friend have a vehicle that can tow. I think 1500 lbs is just below the max load for their 5x9 which is $24.95 plus tax.

And a come-a-long or winch or about 5 friends.

Accidently found my own thread and I never closed it.

I rented a box truck with a tommy lift. THIS time I removed all the drawers with the tools still in them. One at a time they were manageable. An empty shell of a toolbox was easy to move and wasn't scary on the tommy lift. Once it was in place in the garage I put all the drawers back in. A small hassle but easily managed with no worries and didn't take that long.

I will never move a full box again.
