So I was just doing a small 6k rpm pull in my GST when it suddenly jerked and I let off right away pulled over and checked the engine bay. Everything looked good from what I could see but the slowly I lost all electric power to the car I couldn't even lock the doors. And when I turned it off it would not start again.

Could this be the alternator?

Test the alternator and find out. Is the belt still there? I would check and make sure the harmonic balancer is still in one piece also.
