So I bought a 2g spyder and the hood will not latch, it sits on the fenders and it'll reach the first part of latching but it won't close completely, I've tried moving the latch upwards and it doesn't do anything, I've removed the bumper and i can see any damages. The hood is brand new so that rules out the hood. Any idea what would cause this?

, I've doubled checked the hood being installed it is indeed correct. I've replaced the hinges and it still sits the same, could it be that someone or something pushed down the front support beam?
