Background: Bought the car in 2020 as my first car at 16 yrs old for 900$, had no clue about the platform but i was always into cars , first thing i did was a rear main seal ( real fun, i’ve now done it 4 times! ) daily it in the spring, summer and fall, super rotted and beat 300k mile chassis and 420a a/t platform, blew it up last year in may , found a clean car in pa and brought it home in ny and swapped it into mine ( ik, but it’s been something me and my dad have built together since i bought it , holds a special place in me ), new motor has 124k on it , fast forward to end of the season 23’ i bought another parts car with no title and really bad rot, complete
with everything needed to manual swap my car , me and my dad got it done in about 2 days from
auto to driving manual, we next took down the side skirts and as you can see in the pics , its was bad. we made our own patches out of old fenders and rockers from random $hit , and it all came out nice, right now i’m finishing it up for the 24’ season , i left out a lot but i honestly can’t remember it all , just got done cleaning off the oil pan after retapping a snapped bolt and i am high of brake clean
update 2025: 3rd rebuilt engine, found an engine with forged pistons and rods, more coming soon.....
