  • dwdsm posted the classified ad For sale H&R Race springs in DSM Parts Classifieds.
Gently used springs that I swapped out for coilovers as I wanted to actually raise the car a bit. (I'm getting old) Noting wrong with them except for a little overspray from painting the car.

Axle should not just go in with a push. Needs a really firm hit to seat it in. That's how mine went in. Sometimes you may need to turn it a small turn at a time and repeat. I always use the technique of using a little grease on the circlip to...

I plan to work on it this weekend guys. I will try it without the snap ring and move to the grease trick from there.@GJP396 & @diambo4life - did your axles go into the diff with a simple push by hand or did you hit it in with a dead blow hammer?

This doesn't really belong in any tech forum just a pet peeve. Just about every DSM pic I see, for sale, showing off, car show, whatever. Why, why, why do people install aftermarket radiator hoses right out of the package and put a big kink in...

I use a stronger spring for my Bastard 20G. With a 15deg clip - the spike is managed, and it needs a stronger spring to get more than 18psi out of it.

I did go with a billet internal WGA, so that I could increase the spring pressure. At Redline, the minimum boost I have is ~16-17 psi. I have not used an external myself.I’ll take a look at the thread.
