I did have the coolant lines. As far as I have researched, I will want to tighten the FIAV spring all the way down, cap off the coolant line on the FIAV side of things and then loop the coolant line from the therm housing down to the heater pipe...-

More than likely your FIAV was at least partially stuck open. Did you still have coolant lines hooked up to the TB? Now that you closed off the FIAV, you will want to loop or cap those lines.

IC106 is for the Wastegate (Boost Control) and Fuel Pressure solenoids.Is that wire loose in you first picture and you've connected it in the last or the other way around? I'd have to look at a 90 ECU to be sure of where the wire is connected...-
