WTB: 2g black hood and stock intake pipe

As said im looking for a stock intake assembly for a 2g, I do not need the MAF.
I am also looking for a stock 2g black hood and 2g front bumper.

I have some dsm parts I can trade such as a Xact lightweight 7-bolt flywheel and an extra 2g MAF.

I got a hood and a front bumper both from a 2gb. That's the good news. The bad is that the hood was painted black by the previous owner and the bumper isn't in the best of shape. The bottom center section was cut out, probably during an over eager fmic install. Can shoot you pics if you're interested. I'd also be more interested in exchanging the items for some time helping with my little project car. Judging by the avatar you may have been under a hood once or twice. Let me know.

If you can wait I'll have my stock-style "carbon fiber" hood with aerocatch latches for sale in a couple months. I'm putting on gixxerdrew's body kit and so will replace my hood. It's painted black.

I quoted the carbon fiber part because it's your typical thin layer of real carbon fiber with lots of gel coat and a fiberglass skeleton and backing. Consumer grade stuff really.

Front bumper cover would be available too but it's cut for my fmic, and not in the greatest condition.

If you want to swing by Herndon to check it out, assuming you can wait until mid-May, PM me and we'll set something up. I'll be home mid afternoon Saturday working on car stuff.

I miiiiiiiiiiight have a stock 2g snorkel in a box, but I'll have to check tonight.

edit - Oh, the front fenders that are flared will be available at the same time since I'm replacing them. You'd expressed interest in getting that kind of work done years ago when I did it. You can check those out too if you're interested. Will save you a ton of money. I'll know next week if they fit 285 tires as those are on the way with new wheels to match the new body

Yeah unfortunately the car is getting sold so its returning to stock. LEt me know the price on that hood but im willing to bet its outside my range for returning this back to stock.

Thanks man for the offer, already bought one. Still looking for a stock black 2g hood. Hopefully in two weeks ill have an extra day to hit up the junkyard to find one.

Alright. The hood wouldn't be available until later this month at the earliest. I'm dropping the car off at Piper Motorsports around the 25th and will probably put the new hood on prior to delivery, so it would be available the weekend prior. I think I paid $600 for it, it's painted stock black, and it now has aerocatch latches you'd have to use (stock latch was cut out). Heat shielding is installed by me (not stock, DEI sticky stuff) as well as the emissions/ac stickers. I don't think I could let it go for less than $400, and that's a pretty good deal. Still probably beyond your budget though.
