i'm real new to the website, but i was wonderinf if someone could help me out. My 96 GSX was working fine all day long, not a single problem. That is untill I hit a pretty big pot hole. My car made a "thud" or a "clunk" sound and my check engine light turns on for about 2 seconds then turns back off. I drive normal all the way home. I park it then turn it off, about 30 mins later i try to turn it back on but it wont start at all. The lights work, the raido woks but it wont start. i monkey around under the hood i find a huge wire out of nowhere, i dont know if this is my probelm nor do i know anything about the wire
but here it is......

Trace the wire and see where it goes. If it's the one im thinking of, it might go to an 80A fuse in the fusebox on the passenger side. if it does, then it DEFINATELY belongs on the positive terminal. Sandwitch the bare stripped wire between the connectors, and drive it to a mechanic to have it replaced.
