OK so I know Im a dumbass but when I was trying to jumpstart my 95' Talon TSi I hooked up the possitive cable to the negative post. I found out what I did as soon as it started sparking and disconnected it right away. Now it wont start but when I put the key in the ignition it is getting some power, it beeps and the lights for the ignition and the door come on but thats it, it wont start.
I dont know if it matters but when I bought the car all I got was the spare key, not the original one.
Any advice I need to get this car running so I can sell it.

Does it make any sound like the starter is "trying" to start? any clicking or noise?
fuel pump come on when you first turn the key?

whats your voltage readin at the battery? and then check it when your cranking it(or trying to)

When I turn the key to the fist stage to start it npne of the lights in the cluster come on. There is no clicking and the fuel pump doesnt turn on.
I havent checked the voltage yet.

You may have fried some fuses/relays. Check and see what has power when the key is in the on position, i.e. fuel pump prime, and get back to us. This happens to a lot of people, but I guarantee you you won't hook them up backwards again. Just hope you didn't melt any fusible links or anything, you can be chasing those for a while.

When I checked the battery with the key in the off position it reads 12.22 and the same when I turn the key on. I have checked all the fuses that I know of and they are all good. But when the key is off the turbo timer flashes, once I turn the key to the on position it quits flashing.
Please help

Hey buddy. I assume you checked ALL the fuses right? Even in the engine bay? Check your wires, see if there's anything abnormal (bubbling of the insulation, melted insulation, burned wires, etc...). That's all i've got, if it doesn't work, you're gonna have to ask a much wiser person than I. Good luck.

Can my ecu be bad and i noticed that my door lock work but my windows dont work. I checked all my fuses and wires, my timer will not stop flashing. I need to get this fixed asap to sell it.
