wiseco pistons from a 4g63 would they fit the 4g64 cylinder walls

just like the title says ...can my .20 over wiseco pistons that were in my 6 bolt 4g63 fit a 4g64...????????

I am going to say no, that is why they make special stoker pistons.

the 4g64 is not a stroker. It is a different block that requires bigger pistons. The bore is larger that the 4g63

Stock bore on a 4G64 block is 86.50mm vs the Stock bore on a 4G63 which is 85.00mm So the 4G63 pistons in question would have to be at least .060 over.

Not to mention that you will be most likely boring th e64 motor out in the rebuild.

Use pistons made for the block you are going to use and send the pistons to the machinist so he can bore each cylinder for the piston going into it. Make sure everything is labeled.

Beleive it or not not every piston is the exact same...they do have tolerances.
