Hi i have a 91 eclipse gsx and am trying to put it back together. I am almost all done but i seem to have a short some where. There is a wire that is right next to the metal plate that has the paint code on it. It's a black wire and i am trying to run it back but there is so much tape around the harness i figure i ask if anyone knows where it goes. By the way maybe i should tell you i expect it haveing something to do with the spark since i have none thats why my engine won't turn over i think......

no it's not the engine ground it is much smaller then that and runs into the harness. I'll take a pic tomm hopefully i fix it. Right now i traced it back to the plastic harness cover that bolts onto the intake mainifold... I had taken the spark plugs out and grounded them to a bolt and seen no spark. I checked more then one spark plug. I had just put the engine back into the car and tried starting it for the first time.
