I have a 1997 gs eclipse will the stock gst exhaust fit on my car??

im thinking a cat back for a GST will fit on a GS or RS.....can anyone verify this??

it should fit under the car fin but you will need to have an extension welded on from the turbo mount on the exhust to the new manifold

a gs-t cat back will bolt up to a gs rs just fine with no problems at all. Just jack up the car unbolt the n/t exhaust and bolt ont he turbo exhaust. Don't forget liquid wrench or pb blaster.

the placement of the exhaust is the same for the gst, gsx, and rs? i had no idea... you would think that it would be different because of the orientation of the motor and the drop from the turbo.

^^^the gsx has a different exhaust. But all 2g fwd's follow the same cat back path.
