I bought a 91 jdm galant vr4 front clip. I have a 91 talon awd 5 speed with no motor. I was told the 91 vr4 only has 240hp. Is this true? I am going to put the motor, wiring harness, and ecu in my car.

I don't know much about these since i'm new to dsms. So i was wondering how much boost does the stock 91vr4 run and how much can i run with the stock 510 injectors, a 255 walboro and a hallman mbc?

I read on Hallman's site that their rx mbc can only adjust to up to 5psi. Is that true or just that model? I was looking at the pro edition.

Last but not least...i heard the tranny in the jdm 91 galant vr4 is a different gear ratio and that i will need a different part to make it work with my 91 talon awd rear end. Can anyone enlighten me on that?

Thanks for helping a newb. I didn't want to post this in the newb section cause it's a little more than the norm questions.

not our galants, but if it has 510cc injectors that means theyre yellow top which means you also have a 16g turbo which means that 240hp is believable.

The JDM AWD tranny wont work with a USDM AWD rear end. You need to get a JDM rear for it to work (the gear ratios are not in sync)

I have a jdm gallant RS engine and tranny in a 95 talon AWD but I haven't completed the swap and got it running yet. Is it not going to work now unless I get a JDM rear end??? OMG

I have a jdm trans in my car and it works quite well, with the usdm rear end.

How long have you had it in your car? The center diff. ratio is different from the rear diff of the USDM car, so you will burn up the center diff. in the tranny in about 15k miles.
