ive been thinking alot about what combination suspension for my car...its a 92 eclispe AWD......what i what is that "killer shoot out the hole no squatting in the rear launch"
but i want to stick with springs....instead of coilovers....im leaning towards the eibach prokit......i have a theory that needs some help on proving it wrong or right......
i was thinking use the prokit with non adjustable kyb's in front and adjustable's in the rear
why....beacause if your trying to eliminate squat in the rear...having ajustables their would give the ability to adjust it it higher or lower to where will respond quicker when the power is transfered to the rear wheels....thus eliminating squat......will this work

How long are you at WOT between shifts? Shocks can delay suspension movement, but they do not eliminate it. If you are only at WOT for short periods, the high compression damping of AGXs could delay squat enough to eliminate a lot of it. However, if your car is anything like mine (a bit over 300 bhp right now), the time in gear between shifts is too long to use just shocks to prevent squat.

so which do you prefer with the prokit springs.......regular..or adjustables..(kyb's)

I have no opinion because I would never buy ProKits. Sorry. I was responding to your theoretical point.

The bad thing about the shock situation is that the AGX'x adjust both compression and rebound at the same time.... So if you crank the knobs in the rear you are getting force that you dont want!! rebound....In the front little compression is need but lots of rebound to keep the front end from lifting (low, mid speed forces) in the rear you want plenty of low mid speed compresssion but not the rebound force that is seen in the front....Now this setup may be ideal for the strip it wont be fun on the street as the ass will hop around alot...... you would need a rather large range of adjustment to get a setup to go from one to another, but that not to say there is not a happy middle some where.......

Not enough compliance whilst you transfer weight to the rear will unload the tire causing spin! you need to hit the tire with weight and keep it there till your out of the hole.....

Tuning a awd drag car is a balancing act.....
