Will this rim fit my talon?

I bought some rims and idk if there gonna fit. They are 17x114.3 but the offset is 40mm a guy said he had them in a 2g eclipse

hmm I think with a 17x114.3" wide rim you may have some major clearance issues

Whats the actual width of the rim? 7", 7.5", 8" etc....

depending on the width you should be fine as an example evo rims are 17x8 with 38mm offset and they run great on our 1g's (stick out just a little up front), stock offset is 46mm

do you know the rim width or at least the tire size? this will help us help you

It's 17x7.5

A guy at a tire shop said they wouldn't fit after removing my tires and putting them on the new rims. As you can tell this is my 1st dsm

check this link out exact same question and rim specs: I know the offset/rim size is good but I'm not a rim wiz when it comes to the hub bore sizing

I just went to put them on and they don't fit

You'll need spacers and ARP wheel studs. I have rota slip streams 15x8 +40 and they meed spacers and extended wheel studs.

They look like they should fit fine. 40mm offset is not that bad being its only a 7.5" wheel. My 16x8 50mm offset fd wheels fits with a 5mm spacer. I have more offset and wider wheels. Only way to know is to give them a try. One thing for sure, you need hubcentric rings.

The lugbolts and the rim holes don't line up

Oh? Do they have 17 holes?

Cause the pattern is 5 x 114.3

the box you took the picture of shows a duel pattern 5x100 and 5x114.3
the 5x114.3 is the correct pattern, are you sure you lined them up to the right holes/pattern

I put the rim up to it and I turned it to each hole and it never made a difference

the seller might not have known the bolt pattern or he threw them in that box to be a D**K and make a bad deal. You can always bust out the old tape measure. You should google that "how to measure bolt-pattern" or something like that. It's fairly simple and takes like 30 seconds; I would explain it but why since it's already out there
but 5x114.3 is the correct pattern in metric or 5x4.5 in standard

I just checked the product numbers and the label you gave us isnt even the same wheels as the ones posted. thats why they dont fit. Sell them off to subaru or scion guys as they are 5x100.

Yeah no joke those rims cost me pretty penny to. But I guess that's what I get. It will ###### be another month or to b4 my talons on the road again
