Will any "universal" hub fit any aftermarket wheel? cause i would feel stupid buying them seperate and then them not fitting together. also are hubs make and model specific?

Its best to buy the wheel and hub from the same manufactur,,, but sometimes if you can get the specs you might beable to get them to work.

when i got my veilside wheels it specifically said use a nardi style hub adaptor. I guess there may be differnt hub adaptors but every steering wheel should specify what kind of hub adaptor to use. nardi style hub seems to be pretty common.

i kno you got the big ones like sparko, and momo. any other good ones? does bride make decent ones my buddy has one on his 240sx its kinda nice

What type of wheel are you looking for? And why?

BRIDE should be nice. LOL, My buddy has a knock off BRIDE wheel and shift boot he got from ebay for his accord, paid like $20.

Most decent wheels use 6 bolts and are compatible across manufacturers.

my buddies might be a knock off LOL. but it feels nice. what kind of adapter did hew use?

i looking at like a nice sparko one ######. my dsm goal is to build it up to do auto X. drag is cool but im more of a turning kinda guy LOL. jst need something a little more sporty but is functional and serves a point. like better steering feel

I personally like Momo over sparko. My personal favorite was Momo Nero. Its smaller than stock and really comfy and I think it looks awesome. Aftermarket steering wheels are pretty expensive for nice ones, but I hate the stock wheel.

sparco. it is sparco. And I think as long as you get quality parts they should be fairly universal, but I wouldnt try mixing an ebay hub with a non-ebay steering wheel

The Nardi six-screw mount is as close to a "standard" as there is in the steering wheel world. As noted, Grant has their own pattern (naturally, because they're cheezy shit).
If you're trying to find a hub on its own, search for a "1G" part. It's the same as the 2G, but most manufacturers won't list for cars with airbags.
