Why is there fluid leaking onto the intake between the head and intake?

On both of my DSM's, there is a puddle of fluid on the intake between the intake and head where the intake bolts to the head. My valve covers gaskets are not leaking, could this be leaking fuel injectors or what? This fluid is just sitting there.

It's hard to get a good look with the fuel rail and injectors being in the way. It's really black, but that could be with it mixing with old oil from the valve cover. It seems to be gas, are the fuel injector o-rings replacable and where can I get them?

Gasoline typically will not stayed puddled up anywhere. Gasoline will evaporate quickly and frequently will leave staining and not puddles. Plus.... you would be complaining of fuel smell long before even noticing a puddle of anything.

Could it be engine oil, being sucked in through the pcv system, that is either leaking at the pcv valve or from the intake to head gasket?

Pictures would really help here.
