whose running 18 inch wheels. What is your tire size and what is your suspension setup. Im looking for a setup and im thinking 225/40/18 with 40 offset. I want to lower the car at least an inch and a half so im wondering if anyone else has a similar setups

I'm running 245\40\18 on 18x8.5 rims 38 et with k-sport coilovers lowered with no fender rolling or rubbing problem.

whats your offset with those and you were really able to get that big of a tire on 18s without rub, how much was your car lowered?

38 offset and ~2" drop. Even with those fat tires they don't stick out of the fenders at all.

I just tossed on some 18's, running 225/40 series and had to roll the front fenders. Still rub on hard cornering. Not sure the offset.

Offset should be on the back of the rim and what rubs?

The fronts rub. I tried driving with that setup and not rolling the fenders in the front and it rubbed so bad in one night that it took chunks out of my front right tire. slashed it up. After rolling the fenders with a wooden bat it only rubs now on hard cornering or with people in the car. Eventually i will do a slight pull.

I had to trim the inside lip of the wheel well to not rub on a 225 wide tire at this ride height. Nothing major though, as it was barely rubbing the sidewall on big bumps. With a 215 wide tire, it didn't rub at all.

Suspension is D2 coilovers. I have no clue how much lower than stock I'm at.

You have pics of what you trimmed? Trying to visualize which lip. I have 225/40/18s but on stock suspension and they have too much gap. I do plan on getting some coilovers to drop it, but I want fatter tires. Anyone try 225/45/18s? Pics?
