Car was mixing coolant and oil and the car was just rebuilt 1500 miles ago.. Changed head gasket and turbo and issue now is oil burning after warmup still.. I dunno if this turbo is still bad or if there is a lot of oil in the system as I cant see any oil in the pipes or anything.. I did notice a small amount of oil right in the corner of my exhaust manifold.. Did a head shave and supposedly a valve job because they had to remove them.. Compression test was fine 170 across just about so any ideas?? Smoke seems to be oil slight bluish tint atleast in my eyes.. thanks for any help.

Compression tested.... but did you do a leakdown test? possible to have oil sitting in the intake track. Is the oil/manifold corner leak under the PS pump side? If so there is a stud there that abuts an oil passage... its possible that oil is leaking by, running along the gasket, through the charger and out the tail... but it would have to be a substantial leak

no leak down test... yes it is in fact on the 14mm nut stud by the power steering? How can that be fixed?? thanks

you can pull the stud/manifold and reseal everything... but thats up to you. Ive never run into the issue. you may be able to fill the thread gap with some assembly lube or something.... might stop the leak. Not to sure of many sealants that will hold up to the heat. What kind of exhaust manni. gasket is it? Ide do a leakdown before starting the stud repair.

Checking for shaft play is probably the easiest step to take from here.

I've heard blown turbo smoke can be an odd color... almost grey, and can be hard to distinguish it as definitely oil or definitely coolant.

the oil is coming out of the manifold not the stud.. I tightened the bolt down and it stopped i assume its my turbo .. there is shaft play but i dont feel it hitting the housing but the t25 is a pos so i dunno.. My intercooler piping is extremely clean is it possible for no oil in the ic pipes and burning straight out the exhaust?? thanks
