2G White gauge faceplate

I want to spice up my 2G gauges. I'm going with white. I realize I may be asking a "preference" question but I'm hoping to get a little more in depth response than "it's whatever you like."

So I've seen both standard white gauges and in.di.glo. (sorry spell check kept correcting the regular spelling!) gauges.

I understand that white face plates simply stick down over existing black face plates, and LED lights will shine through this? Also, in.di.glo. have their own light source and don't need backlighting?

So is there a preference regarding these options? I do plan on converting my interior lights to LED if that matters....

Have you looked into getting the 1999 eclipse cluster that comes white/silver? Here is what it looks like:

Thanks, mine's a '96. I know they're interchangeable but I think I'll stick with what I have and just change the face.

What Boomdeeze showed you are oem 99 gauge faces. They don't go over the black ones at all. My 99 OZ GS has them and I sanded the backing off so the red LEDs shine through better and I'm now parting out the car. If interested (not saying you are, but if you were) just send me a PM.
