hey guys,i just replaced the cv axles, both driver/passenger and when im driving 25+ mphs it sounds like there is a whining sound, sometimes it sounds like a squeak?

any ideas on what it could be

Did you check your wheel bearings? Common problem to go out on these cars, and they're a bi*** to get off. Drive 55mph on a straight country road with no oncoming traffic and wiggle the steering wheel a few times. Does the sound change pitch/volume as you load and unload each side? If so, wheel bearing. To double-check, jack up each corner, put your hands at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions of the tire, and try to wiggle the tire in and out, just like checking for shaft play on a turbo. Any wiggling? Probably a wheel bearing.

Mine started just like what you describe (minor squeak) every morning, few months later gradually got louder and longer time before it quieted down. I decided not to take anymore risk and ordered the bearing kit from JNZ tuning and will replace it myself. My problem now is the rubber boot that cover the lower ball joint, it's cut during the removal.

i think my problem is the wheel bearing, because when im going straight and i turn hard right, the sound coming from driver side wheel goes away. and when im just driving normal the driver side wheel sounds like its just grinding?
