After doing a brief search... I'm stumped here.

I'm looking for a stainless tubular manifold preferably one with an equal length runner design w/an 40mm external wastegate flange. I'd like it if it mates to a DSM turbo flange as well. Am I crazy or what I can't find one of these things for the life of me.

Edit - Anyone other than DNP make one?

IMO do not get one from Logic Performance. They come brand new cracked. Also the collector area is not even 7cm. More like 6cm. Small. Ironically my buddy has a lower cost manifold from ebay and hasn't cracked yet.

http://www.alienauto.com these are very good. I've got one and couldn't be happier. This guy is hands down one of the best fabricators in the northwest. :thumb:

these are great manifolds as well as full-race.com both companies make super top nothc quality manifolds but expect to pay out the ass for them. Does it have to be stainless? You could always get a south florida performance tubular manifold and have it jet hot coated.

Yeah I looked at full-race but looks like they only had a 2G application going, that alien one looked really nice though, ouchie on the price. I'll have to think about that one. Thanks guys.

dont take my word for this but wouldn't the 2g one work just as well as on a 1g? you might have some clearance issues but that could be remedied by using pusher fans instead of the stock pull through style fans. I can garuntee that with almost any tubular manifold such as the dnp, alien, sfp, fullrace you will have to run spal fans because of clearance issues. hell with my tnetics cast manifold I had to cut about an inch off the ends of the passanger side stock fan so that I could get clearance for the licp/turbo coupler.

I use the Logic header and am quite pleased up to now and got it at a great price. My 60-1 begins to spool at 2300RPM's in 3rd gear. Mark

Haha, why would I be telling lies? Do you think my post was just BS? I don't care it really doesn't matter as I was stating how a product is in my eyes. Might of been a bad manifold. Now I'm just telling you they all don't come in perfect shape.

Whats your budget look like man? If you really want to go with a tubular manifold, I would just eat it and go with the DNP directly through them (that way no middle men to deal with if any issues ever come up). I'd rather pay for something once then pay for it twice and kick myself later for being a cheap bastard later down the road, which i have done plenty of.

Why not go wtih SBR's new ported manifold? It looks way bigger then the EVOIII one they sell for our cars, and ported and with a flange it still comes in at just under 4 bills. Benefits would be sleeper status and cast iron reliability, and its spaced a bit more so you can fit a bigger compressor housing w/o "massaging" any water lines.

Although now that i look they are on backorder, heres the link:

First of all the logic manifold shouldn't even have been brought up since it DOESN'T come with an external gate option. Secondly dsm4lifebeoch was just asking if you own one and how you discovered that it came from Chris cracked...not that your lieing...hmmm. Anyway, I've made plenty of pulls on my Logic mani and it hasn't cracked yet. Similar design to the DNP with the braced runners, and even similar to the ebay cheapies available. Sucks if yours came cracked, but Chris is a nice enough guy to replace it if it did indeed come that way.

Back on topic, I would also recommend the SBR tubular with ext. gate. Very nicely designed. I have a couple of members here that run the AGP setup. The 4 that have them, 3 have had 0 problems, 1 had an issue with it cracking, but they quickly replaced it.

Thanks for all the input guys, I've decided on the alien auto manifold. I'm not really concerened with "sleeper status" and the alien has a lifetime warranty, is EL stainless, has the flange I'm looking for and looks to be of superior quality. I appreciate all your help take care :talon:

I garantee you will be very happy with the alien mani. they are great quality and Justin is such a perfectionist that he would never put his name on anything unless it is built absolutly perfect. :thumb:

that alien one looks completly badass, along with the life time warranty....damn I need money.

Just to throw this in. I bought a so called POS pacesetter header off ebay for $100 shipped. I never jet-coated it and it's been on the car for almost 3 years now. Not 1 crack and it still holding strong. I've been warned that my day is coming though but shit for $100 and a 3 yr warranty I couldn't bi***.

along those lines I hear the new OBX tubular manifold is actually of suprising quality. Although for the name that its labeled under I think some people might have a problem paying the relatively high price it costs.

That Alien Auto manifold sits the WG WAY too close to the alternator. Have fun replacing your cooked alternator every other month. :notgood: Plus I can't justify the price, $775 + $75 for the WG runner and flange. You can score a DNP (which is a proven manifold) for almost a 3rd less, plus it looks better.

We have done this in the past, if you call one of the guys here ask to talk to Mark or Craig, they should be able to take care of this for you.
