Hey all, I am redoing the interior on my 95 eclipse to have a black/white theme. The exterior is going to be white as well (what you guys think about a white eclipse?) with a CF hood.

My main question here is what are some good namebrand seats besides sparco? Just curious.

Also if I would get racing seats like sparco, etc... what kind of seating would match it for the back seats?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Just get them reupholstered at a local upholstery shop, or go to www.katzkin.com. But if you want some good racing seats, Corbeau and Recaro are some alternatives you might consider.

Corbeau seats are nice i have a pair but my only prob was the mounting brackets didn't line up very well. it took me about 4 hours of adjusting and shaving to get them fit right. Oddly enough 3 and a half of those hours was just on the drivers side, the passenger slid right in no problem. But they are well worth it. They have a nice all black seat with white lettering and if you get the CR-1s they are reclineable and have the sliding rail options. Very nice :thumb:

the back you'd probably have to get reupholstered.as far as the front,do you like the ralliart ones from ebay?someone did a review on them and they said it was good.they look good to me.I don't see the reason on spending thousands on seats,or maybe i'm just cheap.ORRRR how bout some evo recaros?you can find those from time to time for under a grand, top notch seats if you ask me.as far as the carbon fiber on black,i think thats the best color for the carbon fiber hood.whatever hood you get, keep the hump.

Yeah I planned on keeping the hump, gives a nice look to the car :p

I m going to check out those other companies you guys mentioned and see what I want to do, main thing is i want the back seats to match. I would just take them out but sometimes I drive people around hehe when I go places.

Added weight means less speed. LOL

Corbeau's are EXTREMELY comfortable. I highly recommend them. Bride makes good seats as well. Not the prettiest, but they're good seats. Just got a search for racing seats on google.com and you'll see hundreds of options :thumb:

If for some reason I decide to take the back seats out now, what would i put in the back carpeting?

Any ideas would be nice :p

Don't understand what you mean. You want to know what would make it look better than just having the nasty looking emptiness?

To do something like that, you should have an idea of what you're wanting to put in the space. Whether it be a nos bottle or a couple of subs. That has to be your decision. Then you have to measure everything in the area so that you can make a 'box'. After you get the general idea of what you're wanting to do (always the hard part) search around and see who's done what along the same lines. I've made a couple of boxes to fill in the space, but like I said, yours is yours, not mine. It'll take a while to do so be patient.

I might want to do like a V shape (not so much of a V angle but yeah) have 2 subs left and right, and in the middle a NOS container, even though i dont want to connect it to my engine yet

Fabricate the design. Fill in the gaps with Foam. When you're ready to carpet it buy carpet adhesive from your local auto parts store. The stuff you want it made by 3m. Buy some carpet and cut to fit. Spray the glue, let it sit for about 30 seconds (glue on box and on carpet) then place it on and smooth it out with your hand. You'll want to stretch the carpet when you put it on the box.

Has anybody order the seats off of ebay for like 300 bucks for the set or gotten them at checkers for 140 a seat... just wondering because I am considering that as a temporary option to spending 1000 dollars on seats or new leather for them.
