Where to install gauge?

How do you hook up a water temp gauge? Oil temp gauge? Oil pressure gauge? Im trying to figure out which one to buy to fill in the empty hole on the double pod i bought. And I want pretty much the easiest one to install.

FYI: all mechanical gauges.

there is many ways to do each gauge, maybe you should put in a voltmeter (the easiest of them all), or an amp meter. vfaq will tell one way to hook it usually the easiest
