Where to get back window tinted in Michigan, anyone?

I took the Talon to my local tint shop (Tidy Car) They have done work for me in the past. When they looked at my back window they said they wouldnt touch it and that it was to curved. They said they could spend all day on it it still may not get it right. Since then I bought a complete laser cut tint kit off ebay, but I dont want to do the back window myself. I'm trying to find a shop in Michigan that will either install the tint I have or install their own. I live in the northern part of the Michigan, but am willing to drive downstate.

ask your local tint shop if they're willing to do it in two pieces. i am a tinter for a shop and let me tell you, i couldn't even tint my own car in one piece so i had to do them in two. there are some people who may be able to do them in one piece. it's just a tough backglass to work on and maybe your local shop was just too lazy to do it in two pieces...

They said they wouldnt even do it period, no-matter how many pieces it took. The place I bought the tint kit from said it would either have to be cut in three pieces or heat-shrinked in one piece. I'll just call some better shops downstate. I just wanted to know if you guys had any experience with any.

I live in south bend.. Its in Indiana.. but like 5 min. from the boarder.. but anyways, my friend got his window from a kid around here for about 120 on his 3000gt.. and those gt's have simlar window styles as our cars.. anyways, my friend with the 3000gt got it done for about 120 bucks.. with 20% window tint all the way round.. which is beyond the leagal limit.. i could try and hook you up

call Slim's Hot Rod Shop in eastpointe I bet they could do it. or Try to Call Tony Tint which I beleive is in chesterfield(does it out of a pole barn looks awsome) it you cant find numbers I will see if I can get them but I just to lazy to get up and look.

well I know that at slims for my 2003 Ram they said 80 for the front two windows (all the tint is the same price)which isn't bad but you'll have to call.

in muskegon they will do it at carsmart -where i got mine- one peice and it looks great nice people too

I would be willing to drive to Muskegon is they can one piece it. Do you remember what they charged? Do you have their phone number handy? Thanks!

yeah im pretty sure they charged me 150 for all to be done but i didnt want 2 fronts done so they uped the quality of the tint for the same price there number is 231-725-0005 give them a call any other questions u got let me know

Depends where you are located. If you are in SE michigan, you could go to First Class Auto in Livonia, WAterford, or one of thier other places; they do great tinting. THey quoted me at $200 for the whole car (hatch, little rear windows, and side front windows)

Another place to check out.. is Notorious tintz. I'm not exaclty sure what city they are in... but im pretty sure its in Northville. THey do a good job, and i will be having them do my car this summer.
