Can someone tell me where to buy all motor/transmission mounts for my 1G DSM Turbo FWD / 5 speed manual trany car????

I also notice that my car has 4 mounts. The frontal and rear motor mount, the transmission mount and one more in front of the trany mount, how does that mount is called? or how does I ask for it???

I will apreciate a lot any help... and if anyone has the part numbers for those items will be even better...

Thanks in advance...

energy suspensions, check them out and see if they have any local distributor in your area... or online store distributor will do too..

I got the prothane from RoadRaceEngineering, for a 2G the timing belt and tranny mount are a complete replace (burn /cut the old and press the prothane in), and the front and rear are inserts. On a 1G I belive the prothane have 3 complete replacements and 1 insert.

I just installed a set of energy suspensions on a friends GSR. I REALLY like the Prothanes more. the E/S are are alot softer and are inserts only, then to hold hte inserts in there is a zip tie style lock. go with the prothane your car will vibrate ALOT more but it will loosen up in a week or two (but will still vibrate)

Thanks everybody for your advices. I made my research job and what I conclude is that lightningmotorsports.com is the one that have a better price on the web ($67.62). The part number they give to 1G DSM Prothane Mounts is 13-1902 for the complete engine mounts (insert kit). Those this is the one that has 3 for complete replacement and 1 for insert??? or the 4 mounts are for insert??? anybody knows???

Thanks once again!

Does anyone know what the part number is for the driver's side motor mount insert (OEM, not Prothane.) I tried to order one from the dealer, but they gave me the rubber stopper instead :(. So if anyone could, it would be a great help to let them know which part it is instead of having them search for another 10 minutes.

I dunno the part number but the prothane kit for the 1g is 3 complete replacements (back/left/right) and only the front has the insert

I think that there are 2 types of Prothane Kits:

A) Full Motor Mount replacement kit: Back, left and right for replacement and only the front as insert. Part number ???????; and

B) Motor Mount Insert Kit: The four pieces are for insert. Part Number 13-1902

As far as i have search, the "A" option is saled by: V-Match and Road Race Engineer. The "B" option is offered by summit, nopi and lighting motorsports. Obviously the B-option is cheaper.

Well, this is what I can understood from my research but I'am not sure of this. Maybe there is only one option of kit. :shhh: :shhh: :shhh: OMG If anyone can confirm this, will be excelent!!! ;) :thumb:
