I usually just get the 1g coil and plug wires and mount it where the 1g mounts.

Exactly. I tried using a modified 2g coil after my swap and couldn't get it to fit anywhere right. I picked up a 1g coil and slid it in the 1g manifold where it was designed to go, and it cleaned everything up.

ok i dont have money for anything else so..where can i mount it for now..im not worried about looks just need to get it running and out of my dads shop before knocks me over...

This is where I have mine. Simple mount. Just bend some metal to make a brace. Works good for me.

what about the plug that goes beside the coil pack?
thanks

Are you talking about the plug that plugs into the coil-pack, the MPD, or the power-transistor module?

Get picture and circle it or something.

If the plug you are talking about looks similar to the MAF plug, then you are referring to the transistor pack/ignitor. You can either extend the harness and mount it clean against the firewall, or bend the gold bracket with it so that it will bolt down with your fuel rail and engine harness. Basically anywhere it fits will work.

As rotaryryan stated, you can place the coil pack wherever it is convienent for you. It just looks cleaner tucked away.

its directly beside the coilpack..its basically connected until you take the bolt out..some up close pics of it would be great how you mounted it..thanks alot
