where can i get a new alternator tensioner bolt?

im actually looking for the tensioner bolt and the other upper bolt that bolts to the alternator. or i will just buy the entire 3 pieces. that pentagon shaped thick piece and the two bolts. anyone know where i can order it or get one?? thanks

I'd try salvage yards, always where I get my miscellaneous parts.

Yeah, junkyard is going to be your best bet. This isn't even something to dealer can get. I had this happen to me on my 1g and I used a bolt with a washer and a lock washer and nut on the other side and put a thin washer inbetween the alternator and mounting bracket and slide the bolt through it. Held up for 10k miles already.

I got mine at a Dodge dealership (almost always cheaper than Mitsubishi). Just tell them Eagle Talon instead of Eclipse. It was only a couple bucks for the special long bolt. Then I just went to Autozone for nut/washers. Works great!

You could always ask another tuner you know.....
