when is full boost

when should i have full boost in first gear? i have a bone stock : 1990 gsx 5spd

I have a 92 laser awd, mostly stock. First gear goes by too fast for me, but I want to say full full is like 3k for me?... When I'm in a slow roll in fourth and make my way up, its like 3.2k or so...

like as soon as you floor it. unless you are having issues. when does urs hit full boost

The car is too light and the gearing is too low to be able to consistently hit "full" boost in fhe lowest gears. There's no need to, nor is there a performance gain over getting into a higher gear instead.

You can't rely on the stock gauge, it is just guessing.
