wheel/tires setup for 2g gsx

so yea got run off the road the other day and messed up both my right side wheels and tires pretty bad. so im looking to replace the whole set. currently ive got Adjustable Tokico Illumina shocks/struts 17X7.5 Exel daytonas and Nitto NEOIIGEN 225/45ZR17. just wanted some suggestions on what other people have found to work really well.

17 x 7 is too small for a 3200 lb car.

Minimum should be 17 x 8 and around 38 to 40 offset. See if you can pick up some stocker EVO wheels if you're feeling cheap. Lots of guys are selling them and they'll actually fit decent brakes.
