Allright,

i was looking @ getting some new wheels and tires for my 96 gst, and came across some motegi ff7's. my question is, will these rims work? i dont know damn near anythign about wheels on my eclipse, so here are the specs for the rims:

17x7
backside spacing (in/mm) : 5.5/140
offset:42mm

also, what profile tire should i sue with these rims? something like a 225/40? or is that just WAY the hell off?

thanks for any info!

-Mike

Just about any proper website should give you that 225/45 or 215/45 will fit 17" rims on your GS-T just fine. That offset is spot on, you shouldn't have any rubbing issues at all for a 17x7" rim.

hey thanks alot for the info. i would like to think that a know a good deal about my car, but when it comes to this stuff, i am totally clueless. Thanks for the help!

-mike

Just make sure the lug spacing is right; 114.3 x 5

114.3 = 4.5 DU's (Defiant Units)
