OK well i just started up my car it idles around 700-1000 rpm's...IS thats normal or bad...it sounds like its stuttering a little... what could it be?

it also seems to get worse if i rev it a little?

i toke it down the road and back but it still did the same thing...

my bov is recirculated so thats not it.... any ideas would help.

later guys

I dont think the ISC is bad unless its surging up and down.

Most likely its probably a boost leak, maybe do a leakdown test and report back?

Buy 50/50 mix from any auto store. Ask if it is silicate free or low in silicates. Prestone is notorious for using this sand like substance in their coolant......the theory is it helps clean to keep your coolant system cleaner. This is not needed if you flush regularly.

No tightening your BOV should not help this symptom if you are not venting to atmosphere.

Boost leak test for sure.

If your ISC was bad it would also be trying to die on you.
You can take it out and give it a cleaning though. They get "gunked" up on occassion causing different idling situations.

Post back with your results after the boost leak test. :thumb:
