what would happen if i have a turbo tcu in a non-turbo car?

i bought a tcu for my 91 eclipse gs non turbo. i think its a turbo tcu if i put it in would there be a difference or will it not work does anyone know??

if i remember right it will run like shit....dumping tons of fuel in it ....what is the number on the ecu you bought? if you look at it pins up with the cover off there will be a board in the bottom left hand corner running up and down about 2 inches by 1 with a round blk thing on it ...if it has that you have a turbo ecu because what i just desrcibed it the knock sensor board. oh yeah thats right you'll get a cel because theres no knock sensor! if its a turbo ecu

my bad i thought your post said ecu......i put a non turbo tcu in my turbo car for a couple of days till i got my tcu back ....it shifted harder than with the turbo tcu ...plug it in and try it ...i think the worst that can happen is it will go into limp mode
