What Was Your Favorite Video Game For The First Nintendo?

What about Snake's Revenge? That was a pretty fun game for the MetalGear series...I beat that one long before I could beat MetalGear...I actually had to download all the maps, secret rooms(iron glove), and the list that gave you the weapons that were most effective on endbosses for MetalGear.
Has anyone ever played Amagon? I think it's Amagon...It was this game when you started off as this little dude with a gun. If you get these two items(forgot what they were) you turn into huge dude, Megagon, and punch the bloodpiss out of your enemies...if you get hit too many times, you turn back into Amagon.

does anyone remember a game called *edit*rush'n attack */edit*or something like that? that was my all time favorite.

I own Rush 'N Attack...it's kinda like Guerilla Wars. I believe it's made by either SNK or Capcom.

you must've missed my post. :|

Not only can you play the games online, I found it amazing that the games all fit on one thumb drive (actually took up very little space on it)...which makes it a great facilitator for use on computer (like the Gov't ones that perhaps shouldn't have games on them).

Not that I'd know or anything...

Big fan of 1942, 1943, 1944 series.

a buddy of mine had an 8-bit in his neon, and I forgot how kick ass the nes is.

favorite action games: Ninja Gaiden, Rygar, Ghost's N, Goblins, Castlevania series, mega man series

fav air combat games: Afterburner(way better than top gun), 1942, and then there was this game called Captain Skyhawk (?), at least I think thats what it's called.

Fav shooters: Duck Hunt, Gumshoe
Fav car games: super sprint, r.c. pro-am, excite bike
Fav sports games: double dribble, tecmo football, blades of steel, Mike Tysons Punch-out!, and skate or die

Man, those were the days.... :thumb:

Amen to that one. I know all about that. :thumb:

For just the Nintendo, had to be Tecmo Superbowl. That game was sweet. It's a shame with all the technology advances, some of the older games are better than some of the stuff they regurgitate now-a-days (Madden.. uhh, aside from the blockers running right by guys, the offensive linemen NEVER pull, and the guys rarely block on punts.. oh and the players just don't look right).

Tecmo Superbowl with the updated rosters would be the greatest thing since sliced ham.

Ninja Gaiden and Contra were my favorites. I also had fun with Blades of Steel, Bad Dudes, Extra Innings (I can still hear the corny way they said "Extra Innings" at the start of each game), and Legendary Wings. We used to play Legendary Wings with Lords of Acid's "Hey Ho" song blasting in the background, and make the guys land and jam to the music as we kicked butt in the game:)
For the Sega, Star Control was the best. Nothing like bouncing off a planet in your ##-Quan or Spathi ship in a Melee...
