well, the weather here in Indy has been crazy,... this morning after i get off work the temp. was low-mid 60's(yesterday, i think it was blazing hot---80's). anyway, to make the long story short, i drove my car hard this morning because theres no other car on the freeway but me. so, then this evening when i was about to leave, i started my car and suddenly heard a loud flapping noise. i did not have enough time to check it(running late), but i saw my a/c and alternator serpentine belt was off from the pulley. WHY? i crank them pretty good when i did my waterpump/timing belt. i'll do some more inspection tommorow. do you guys have any idea what might happened to it? i've been noticing my car lately that theres a slack of power. now i'm kinda convince that the loose belt probly was the reason. thanks...
sorry for the rant....
sorry for the rant....

,.. how could that happened if 3/4 of the bolt was screwed into it securely tight? i also notice that my crankshaft pulley was off and loose... which i can basically full part of it away from the engine. unfortunately, i cannot go any further inspecting the belts and pulleys due to the fact that my car is currently parked in front of our garage which has an uphill driveway(maybe 15degree angle). i'm going to need some hand to push my car into our garage.
. but anyway, the only thing i can think of for the crankshaft pulley to go loose, is if the bolt that hold it to the crankshaft pulley loosen it self like the bolt on my a/c tensioner bracket. good thing though that this happened while my car is parked and not while its on the road(would have been a disaster). i just hope that the problem do not go beyond the pulleys and belts.
